The Alt was an artist collective, formed by Sonny B and Lorena Salomé, that aimed to provide an alternative space where individuals could connect, express themselves, gain new skills and play. By acting as a bridge between different art communities in Toronto The Alt hoped to make art more accessible for all and provide a basis for networking and skill building. The Alt focused on supporting local artists and designers through the exhibition and selling of their work and providing an opportunity to network with other artist communities.
